The Hunting of the Snark Study Guide

Unfortunately this book is only available in Kindle form. It's a very well done book but I think it would have been more usable in an actual print form. It's only 19 pages long but those pages contain a lot of information on Carroll's poem.

(Which, by the way, is one of my favorites.)

It discusses 'fits', what quests are, what a mock quest is, what nonsense poetry is, how people have given the poem many interpretations, the use of a ballad measure, Carroll's biography, the characters, the snark, a synopsis of each fit, plot analyses and the Jabberwocky, the quest for material wealth, the roll of a bellman,illustrators, a plot diagram and a host of other things.

All in a jam-packed short book and if you're interested at all in the poem then this book is a must.
