Purple Potato Eaters

Alice needs some money to go to the movies and her father suggested she wash the car, that she would 'appreciate' the money more if she worked for it. The people in wonderland smell something really good and find out the walrus has made purple potato pancakes. The queen says the same thing the father said when the people realize they will have to do some work to get the pancakes made.

The walrus has trouble getting people to do things like carry the potatoes, peel them, etc. The caterpillar also tells a story.

As with the other episodes in the series, there are various songs and dances. The Cheshire Cat tricks the Tweedles, the Mad Hater and the March Hare to help dig up the potatoes. Neither the Queen nor the rabbit helped at all, though.

This is a very heavily moralistic episode, almost moving in to the overdone category.
