The Complete Alice in Wonderland

The Complete Alice in Wonderland, #1

This is yet another version of the story of Alice in Wonderland. It's the most complete version of the story that I have seen in any comic book series. In addition, the artwork is done very well with an old look to it. This particular issue covers the events up to when Alice gets to the house of the March Hare.

The Complete Alice in Wonderland, #2

This contains the last part of Alice in Wonderland, using much of the original text and having some very good artwork that is faithful to the original book as much as possible. The issue starts with the tea party (with a particularly scary looking Mad Hatter) and runs through Alice waking up from her dream. It also includes the poem She's All My Fancy Painted Him and a two-page spread on text and accompanying black-and-white drawings.

The Complete Alice in Wonderland, #3

The series continues using as much of the original text as possible and with drawings that are very good and fit the text quite well. This particular issue covers the first part of Alice Through the Looking Glass, where Alice makes her way through the mirror another reality where she meets some chess pieces, reads about the Jabberwocky, talks to plants, takes a train ride and makes her way across a grassy checkerboard. It ends with her meeting Humpty Dumpty.

It also includes the work Child of the Pure Unclouded Brow and a page of text and matching black-and-white panels.

The Complete Alice in Wonderland #4

The fourth issue of this excellent series about Alice in Wonderland, this one going from where Alice talks to Humpty Dumpty on to the end of the story of Alice Through the Looking Glass. If you like Alice in Wonderland, you will want to add this series to your collection.
