Wonderland, Arrow Comics

This is a series of three comics from Arrow Comics Group based on Alice in Wonderland. The drawings of Alice and Dorothy I don't think are done very well. Many times they look more like young men than young women, especially in their faces.

Issue #1

The cover of this issue is sort of strange, especially Alice's face. The interior is all black-and-white panels. The story opens with Dorothy meeting Alice who says she's been in Wonderland for many years. She also mentions something about the Queen's spies.

The Queen of Hearts is quite mad and has had a lot of beings beheaded in her realm, the beheadings being real. The Red King plans to do some kind of attack on the Red Queen, but also plans some nasty stuff for Alice and her friends, and holds the White Rabbit hostage and under his control.

Issue #2

Alice and her group are going to assault the castle (and walk right into a trap). We see the Red Queen and she looks like Jabba the Hut's sister.

Issue #3

The final battle in the Queen's main room takes place. Alice and her group are getting the worst of it until someone helps them out. The source of the Queen's insanity is revealed. The series finishes. It was fairly decent, overall.
