Alice in Wonderland, Tim Burton version
This is not Alice in Wonderland; this is really a sequel to the original story. In this case Alice has consciously forgotten wonderland. She's grown up and her parents have arranged to her to get engaged to a really creepy, yucky kind of guy.
She puts off accepting his proposal while she chases a white rabbit and soon she is once again in Wonderland. It's not the same Wonderland as before; though; its Wonderland under the tyranny of the Queen of Hearts. Alice meets some very fascinating characters, including some she saw the first time around.
I think Johnny Depp makes a really neat Mad Hatter. All the characters are well done, including the new ones.
Alice has to try to set things straight in Wonderland, and not only is that not going to be easy, it could cost her her life.
