The Oz/Wonderland Chronicles #0
The cover is really neat showing both Alice and Dorothy grown-up. The issue opens with a forward in text about Oz and Alice in Wonderland. Then, in what is definitely a strange way to do such a comic, there is one page of text arranged like it was from a movie script but describing the panels on the second page, which is black and white drawings of the material noted on the left-hand page.
There is a wicked witch that has captured Ozma. People working with the wicked witch go to our world and kill Jack the Pumpkinhead, and then go through a mirror to attack Wonderland. The witch seems to be trying to find power objects in different realities.
Pages after the first few are text only with sketches done very lightly and only partially behind the text sections. Then there are pages introducing some of the characters with various sketches of them in black and white.
After this there are more sketches and some material on various authors, etc, associated with the original books.
Overall a rather strange issue.
