The Pool of Tears

Alice's sister is reading another book and is frightened by a caterpillar so her mother criticizes her, but then the mother is frightened when she sees Alice. Alice nearly falls off but her father saves her just in time.

Alice and Bennie are nearly run over by Bennie's uncle.

She tries to tell the big rabbit off but he's not paying any attention to her at all.

So they follow him into the rabbit hole.

Alice eats a small piece of cake and grows huge.

Alice starts crying.

She uses the rabbit's fan because it's warm and it ends up causing her to shrink. (The cartoons, although not an exact representation of the original Alice in Wonderland story, does a very good job incorporating parts of that story in with very logical additional scenes.)

Then the mouse appears. Alice screams when it appears. Other animals start to appear.

Someone Bennie ends up commandeering a teacup.

They end on on an island where things are covered in stripes. They find out that the stripes have been painted on to the various objects.

One by one Alice's companions are covered in stripes.

Then someone, or some thing, starts painting stripes on Alice.

They find the stripe-painter.

The cat tells it's story. The Queen of Hearts wanted a tiger; no tiger being available, she had the cat painted with tiger stripes. The cat ran away.

The Queen comes to the island.

They wash the stripes off everything.

Then Alice is back in 'normal' reality.
