Alice Dearest

Alice is in an asylum with her memory of her life before gone. She starts seeing a blue cat appear from time to time and then notes appear to her from somewhat named Hatty The cat even talks to her at times. Her thearpist, Dora, is part of what is going on.

Alice has been beaten by her attendants. Dora goes to a place called Dreamland where she meets with Hatty. There's a woman named Red, a guy who smokes a hookah, and backstories of some of the characters.

None of this really held my interest. It's similar to some other books I've read but in this case I never really had any feelings for the main characters.
