Eventually Alice

Alice is 19 and has a younger sister named Anna. Anna disappears and it's up to Alice to find her. Her main companion in the effort is the Mad Hatter.

Alice enters Wonderland through a mirror. She meets the Mad Hatter who recognizes her and we learn that she is the original Alice. The problem is her sister is 9, about the age when Alice first entered Wonderland, and her sister has been captured by the Red Queen who thinks she's actually Alice, not realizing some years have passed and the original Alice is now older.

The story from that point on is really good. Alice is attacked by flowers and the Jabberwocky. The people she knew from before are still there but older. Her task is to get to the Red Queen's castle before the queen can declare Anna to be Princess Alice and thus solidify her rule in Wonderland. There's a lot of action in the story and it's well told. Worth getting.
