This is the 7th book in this series. There's a question of who Him means and some background information is given. Alice originally had plans to kill Pillar. She now thinks that Pillar might be her father.

Things go very bad for the mushroomers as the media and some evil people paint them all as terrorists and have a campaign to kill all of them. This includes anyone in the asylum from which Alice and the others need to find a way to escape in time.

The Pillar kills some leaders of the evil group, a new Pope basically declares war on the Wonderlanders (founding a new religion in the process), we find out who killed Alice's family and their might be a traitor in their midst.

All in all the typical insanity found in these books with some emphasis on the role of media in stirring up the masses.
