Figment

This is the second book in the Alice Wonder series. She once again ends up working with the Pillar, this time to stop another character from Wonderland, this one known as the Muffin Man.

It starts with the heads of children being found in watermelons. Alice has to sneak her way into a morgue but finds that the Cheshire Cat is there waiting for her. Even the Queen of England, and her nuts, is involved.

The Muffin Man acts as an eco-terrorist, attacking the food industry for making unhealthy food which results in fat children. His victims soon number in the hundreds and he has a plan for raising that figure to the millions. It's up to Alice and the Pillar to somehow stop him.

Alice has to do this and at the same time deal with Jack trying to find out who is really is. Some questions have answers that are not pleasant. This is a really good second book in the series.
