Alice Illustrated

This book contains various Alice in Wonderland-related artwork from a variety of artists. There is a general introduction plus information on each artist featured. The authors that I personally like the most that are in this book include Margaret Tarrant (whose blond Alice is really darling); Arthur Rackham and Mabel Lucie Attwell.

Some of the artwork (in my opinion) has in particular the March Hare and/or the Hatter drawn in a rather scary or disproportionate manner.

Still, if you want to see how the drawings of Alice have changed over time and by author then this is a book you want to get.
