Alice: A look into Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and at the curious relationsip between Alice Liddell and Lewis Carroll

Also included is are the 1903 and the 1915 silent film versions of Alice in Wonderland.

The film starts off talking about Alice Liddell as an older woman visiting the United States. Then it goes into how he met Alice Following that it talks about his becoming a teacher. Next covered are problems in the Church of England of the time.

Then it goes into how he met Alice. It also talks about the various rumors about Dodgson's relationship with the Liddell's, one of them being he was interested in the governess. It moves on to his interest in photography.

The narrator notes different people and events and how they ended up modified in Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. It talks about the break with the Liddell's, the reason which can only be guessed at since someone had cut out some pages from his diary (and probably destroyed other of his diaries). The narrator says it was probably something dealing with Dodgson's desire to marry Alice when she got older.

The book Alice in Wonderland is covered including what led him to write it. There are also scenes from one of the earliest Alice in Wonderland silent movies. The film goes into that in great detail. Then it goes briefly into Through the Looking Glass.
