Alice's Adventures in Wonderland: Selected Illustrations from more than 25 Classic Editions

Hardback, 208 pages. Book has loads of illustrations and the authors of these are identified in a list at the back of the book. The illustrations run through 1930. In my own opinion I think the ones from the 20's and the 30's are some of the best ever done and are the most gentle of the illustrations. The ones in later years seem generally to be sort of a mish-mash of styles, some of them being so strange it's hard to make out just what the drawings are supposed to be showing. Some tend towards the horror approach while others are more involved with the sexualized approach.
