Alice in Wonderland: A Visual Journey Through Lewis Carroll's Mad, Mad World

Hardback, 202 pages, coffee-table sized book.

An extremely excellent book that examines a variety of topics: the origin of the story; various illustrators for the story; how Alice in Wonderland has used in plays, movies and television; animated versions of the story; books, music and toys and Alice in the modern world. The book is filled with artwork and photographs.

Each section is very well done. There are very, very few books like this and this one is the best of all of them. It helps a person to see just how much Alice in Wonderland has penetrated our every day world and how its popularity seems to just keep going on and on. It also shows how the story has been adapted to new technology as it becomes available.

Absolutely a must for the collector of Alice in Wonderland material.
