Insanity: Wonder

The fifth book in this series about Alice, the Pillar, Black Chess and others from Wonderland. Two new rather nasty characters appear while Pillar has gone and says he won't be back for 14 years.

Alice needs to time travel to find the six impossible keys and finds that in the future world there sane people are put in asylums and everyone else is crazy. Mr. Jay appears and he's revealed as the founder of Black Chess.

It's a dark book as events get steadily darker in the series. Alice finds the Pillar in the future. He learns who will end up killing him.
