Avril Lavigne: Celebrity with Heart

This is one of a series of books about celebrities that give back to others, helping various organizations and charities.

The book first goes over Avril's life. This includes a lot of good photos, by the way.

Then the book gets into how Avril has helped others. This started off with her attending a concert for Tsunami relief. Then she helped again by donating an autographed guitar to be auctioned for a charity, Musicians on Call (they perform for patients in long-term health care facilities). She contributed a song to an Amnesty International Album to raise money for Darfur, and performed in a concert to raise money to fight AIDS.

The book goes into more details about her life, including both positive and negative things. Altogether it's a well-done book.
