Head Above Water CD

1. Head Above Water: This is an incredible song. It sounds beautiful and the words are amazing. This is one of her major strengths and that is her lyrics are often extremely thought-provoking. Another thing I like about most of her music is that she sings in a way that is understandable.

2. Birdie: Another very powerful song which seems to be to me talking about abuse, physical and mental that someone has been exposed to which is a major problem in our quite violent society.

3. I Fell In Love With The Devil: Another song about abuse, this one being about someone who just can't seem to tear themselves away from their abuser. Both of these two songs have been very good musically, also.

4. Tell Me It's Over: A very soft jazzy feeling to this song is about someone trying to figure out if a relationship is actually over or not.

5. Dumb Blonde:A very, very strong song about self-worth. This seems to be one of her older-style songs from an early album of hers. Really, really good. Again, I really like the music in this one.

6. It Was In Me: A very beautiful song musically and lyrically, pointing out a person's inner strength is in them and does not depend on what everyone else thinks about them.

7. Souvenir: Another really, really good song about someone's feelings for another person.

8. Crush: A good song about how one person feels about another. The songs have so far been of a variety musically, also.

9. Goddess: Another really, really good song about love and another song slightly musically different than the others.

10. Bigger Wow: Another song about love. The only thing I don't like is the finger-snapping. To me it detracts from the song.

11. Love Me Insane: Exactly the same remarks as for the last song.

12. Warrior: Another incredible song about self-worth.
