Beading

I've gotten into beading, although on a fairly small scale. Below are some things that I've made so far.

This is a My Melody necklace that I made, using a phone strap attachment from Strapya. I used primarily pink beads to match My Melody's color.

This is another necklace I made. The sqaure blue bead is plastic, and the rest are pony beads with some other things that remind me somewhat of Mayan artwork. This one was strung on hemp.

I was lucky enough to get to see a Cirque du Soleil performance of Quidam, and while there, I bought a bracelet. The pendant on this necklace reminded me of the bracelet, and I had to try and make a necklace using it. There's a number of the Mayan-type beads, some pony beads, and my first use of glass beads.

This is another necklace created around a focal bead, the round green glass donut bead which I thought was beautiful. So I decided to make the entire necklace using different shades of green, mixing pony beads with glass beads. The beads I used to separate the sections are copper colored, and I thought that those and the green beads reflected the colors in the pendant.

This necklace was made as a present. I thought the cross was pretty. I used some beads with those colors, plus some white beads. Again, there is a mix of pony beads and glass beads along with the Mayan-type wooden beads.

This is another necklace that is mainly green.

For this necklace I took the fairy from a different necklace and used it for this one. The bottom beads are a little on the heavy side, though.
