Eye Witness

A guy is at a hotel (?). The man behind the bar notes that Henry does not seem well. A kid comes in and seems to know Henry. He also talks in a British accent.

Henry gets to his office. Suddenly there are sounds of explosions (?) and he loses his balance.

After the fourth explosion Henry seems to be in some kind of trance and starts writing on a tablet.

Henry wrote down what seem to be four readings from a seismograph indicating an earthquake or something like that.

Henry is a newspaper editor. Checking up on Google the date is the eruption of Krakotoa. He puts the paper into a container and then it ends up in another room. Someone higher up at the paper decides to run it on the front page.

Another guy from the paper visits Henry and says no other paper got the story he gave them.

The headline of the paper. Apparently he wrote the entire article. Later Henry tells two others higher-ups at the paper that he knows nothing about the story or the volcano. He tells them that he was working on routine stuff and then heard four great explosions.

The guys say that no other paper has the story and there is nothing from the wireless so Henry gets fired.

A scientist (I assume) brings the seismograph recordings to the newspaper office, verifying that there were four explosions just as Henry wrote in the article. The guys tells them that report seems to be absolutely accurate.

Henry is now back at the paper but the problem is that the others think he's some kind of totally accurate psychic. Henry says he's an ordinary reporter and something happened to him to cause him to write the column.

It's twenty years on and Henry is back in the office. Henry types something on his typewriter and it turns out to be a story about President McKinley being assassinated. After he's finished the article the news ticker starts spitting out an announcement about McKinley being killed. In other words, Henry again got an advance something about a major event.

Checking Google I found various articles that back up the story in this episode.
