Poltergeist

Harper Blaine is still learning a lot about the Grey, and how to deal with the things that dwell there.

She gets hired to check out an experiment that is run by a scientist who says the people he is working with can make a poltergeist by their own thoughts. He thinks someone is trying to mess up the experiment and so hires Harper.

Granted, the idea of making a poltergeist come into existence by the thoughts of a group of people seems a little far-fetched but, in this case, it works. Unfortunately too well. One of the people in the experiment, a plant by the scientist, is murdered in a gruesome fashion.

The poltergeist itself seems to be getting stronger and stronger, and nastier and nastier. Various people in the experiment are hurt in one way or another, and Harper has to find a way to defuse what has been happening.

It's another good book in the series. It's nice to see the process of Harper developing her abilities further. The book is sort of a mix of horror and mystery, and does very well with both genres.
