The third book in series which deals with bullying in schools. The story is based on real events.
The book starts off by defining just what is cyberbullying and has various facts which show the frequency and seriousness of that. Around a quarter of those who are cyberbullied end up having suicidal thoughts.
This one starts off with a problem between a guy and a girl. The girl, Veronica, ends up marking his car and things escalate from there. What makes this story different from others is that Veronica's mother decides to get involved, thinking her daughter is being mistreated. The mother creates a fake account and uses that to start, basically, a war about Roger, the guy who owned the car.
She creates and entire negative story about Roger and, bit by bit, the students at the school begin to turn on him. Other accounts are created and the pressure on Roger gets to much for him to bear.
The truth, though, will not stay buried and people who cyberbully others can find themselves in major trouble, especially if they are adults.
