This is a very different book from almost all the other cryptid books. It has a beautiful brown ridged cover and the pages are done in sepia. There are some very old-fashioned maps and various drawings that tend to show explorers as they might have looked decades ago.

This book is divided into monsters found in various parts of the globe. There's usually a drawing and a description of the cryptid along with its name, size, home, origins and appearance. I really like the style it is done in and the information is not totally complete, of course, but what there is is done nicely.
