My Little Chef episode 2

It's one week until the restaurant opens. The restaurant only has five tables. (center) They are having a meeting and Seri is still unsure of her being head chef. They are looking over the name of the ten guests for the opening. A reporter has already been there and is going to do an article on the restaurant's opening.

He wants her to copy recipes from other restaurants. This guy is weird. He expects everyone in the restaurant he has taken her to, to order the same thing so it will be easy on the restaurant's chef. Seri doesn't agree with his philosophy of ordering.

The really important woman in Paris who owns the Etiole restaurant is complaining because sales are down 30%.The restaurant opens.

The people don't like the food she's fixed.

Kensaku yells at Seri and she runs to the bathroom to cry.A man talks to Seri about when he ate at her father's restaurant and how wonderful the food was. The guy, a Japanese-American, is a world famous gourmet, and he comes to the restaurant to see what it is like.

She has prepared a special soup that she thinks the man will like, but Kensaku wants her not to serve that but to serve him something else. This is what she serves him. He has an amazing and complex personal story that ties in to Seri's father and his cooking. She explains that she needs to know something about the person before she can cook something that will make them happy.

She talks to him and finds out about his past in Brazil and is able to make things especially for him. The picture is a whole sea bass filled with coffee beans and covered in something else. He loved the meal and says he will be back. Kensaku starts thinking about a way to make the chef-getting-to-know-the-customer idea work.
