My Little Chef episode 5

The Paris office of the woman we've seen numerous times so far. (center). Her reason for meeting with this man becomes clear. The guy also knows Kensauku and hates him.She wants him to check out Kensaku's restaurant. Kensauku, however, has an offer from the bank to buy his property and a bunch of creditors who want to be paid.

The reporter tells them someone sharp is coming to take over Kensaku's old restaurant.(center). The new guy, Ito, had a restaurant in France with Kensauku who, himself, now hates Ito. The chef lacks confidence and the restaurant has no meat or fish and can't seem to get any from their vendors.

While Ito and Kensaku eat, they argue a lot about the restaurant they had in France. There are a lot of very deep feelings of betrayal when another chef was hired in addition to Kenzo.

Kensaku is mad at Kenzo for running off and leaving him with a lot of gambling debts. Seri tells then that Kenzo has lost his sense of taste, a fact neither man knew.

She explains to the two men that Kenzo has lost his ability to taste and they both finally sit down and start eating what she has prepared.

Kensaku finds out who Seri's father's divorced wife really is.

Kenzo gives Seri her father's recipe notebook.
