My Little Chef episode 7

Kensaku and Seri talk about her natural mother.

Seri, Nazuna and one other person are going to spend a (very) short vacation back with Seri's adoptive mother.

Kensaku has been trying to get a loan but has been consistently turned down.

The reporter shows up and says that Seri's birth mother is in Japan.

Kensaku calls Seri's mother. He asks her to meet with Seri but she said she wouldn't discuss "private matters."

The guy who has a thing for Seri came along and so far has been working all the time, starting with picking vegetables. Now two of the women in the old folk's home are hitting on him.

There is a new woman there and she is rather unfriendly.

Seri's mother sits in a hotel room looking at a young picture of her.

Kensaku goes to meet Seri's mother face-to-face. She had turned him down before on meeting her daughter but finally agrees to give her one hour of her time.

Even though Kensaku tells Nazuna about Seri's mother wanting to meet her, Nazuna doesn't bother to tell Seri about the message.

Seri finds out that the unfriendly woman used to work in an inn. She asks her for help in fixing dinner and the woman was basically just waiting to be wanted again for something and she jumps at the chance to help out.

Kensaku talks to Nazuna again on the phone and again she lies, saying Seri had left long ago and probably had just gotten lost.

Kansaku takes Seri's mother to the restaurant.

Seri finds out that Nazuna never gave her the message.

Seri finds out from Kenzo exactly what really happened between her birth mother and her father, and why her mother divorced her father.
