The Amazing Deer Man, conclusion

The ceremony starts.

The mouse is there and the deer, and Richard is allowed to watch.

Flashback to the priestess that established the ceremony and put her power into the mirror.

The water has formed into a glowing ball.

It rises into the air.

It keeps rising.

It touches the moon, and a bright light shines out.

Energy comes back down through the mirror.

It goes through the earth to where the giant catfish lives.

The glowing ball appears again.

Hotta cups it in her hands.

It goes into the deer's eye.

The deer says it will have the power from the eye for 180 years.

The deer explains that Ogawa was chosen because of the charm he wears.

Abbey Road?

Their final talk.

The deer says he can either change Ogawa back, or Hotta back (to full human appearance) but not both.

Ogawa talks about leaving.

Hotta comes into the staff room and grabs Ogawa and drags him out.

She has been cured, but he hasn't.

He tells her he's leaving.

She goes to confront the deer. When he won't pay attention to her, she makes him pay attention.

She is unsure of making her feelings known to Ogawa.

The kendo team says its goodbyes.

This must be on the last day of school for him. The staff is saying their goodbyes. Richard, who found his missing gold watch (or which was never lost in the first place) is quite unresponsive and has been since he didn't get his way with the mirror.

He asks the deer why the three of them do what they do.

He's referring to something the Princess said to him. (The woman who started the ceremony idea)

He says his goodbyes to the deer.

The deer comes over to Michiko to talk to her.

Hotta and Michiko meet that night, and Hotta says Michiko loves Ogawa. Michiko tells Hotta she has something important to say to her, but the scene moves on before we find out what it is.

These two are interested in each other.

Ogawa avoiding seeing Madonna on purpose, so she would get a chance to be with the ceramics teacher.

They look at the city.

She is basically revealing her feelings for him.

He hugs her.

Then he kisses her.

He's getting ready to leave.

She says goodbye.

Hotta shows up at the train station.

She kisses him.

She has written him a letter.

Interesting.

Suddenly his face is normal.

The deer is there to see him off.

He's bought an engagement ring.

This is later. Michiko is there for some reason. He also sees the deer, and just as quickly it disappears. Apparently he's become a fully-qualified teacher.
