Gokusen, episode 12

The calm before the storm.

Everyone's looking at the magazine which has just come out.

The pictures.

Her Yakuza background is out.

The school gets tons of complaining calls.

Her students, though, are totally accepting of her.

The director of the school (apparently, the top head hancho man himself).

He tells Yamguchi he wants her to resign.

She tries to defend herself.

Her students confront the reporters.

The director plans to have every one of Yamaguchi's students expelled. (No students, no need for a teacher.)

Sawada comes to visit her that night.

The reporters are at the school the next morning.

The students find out she has resigned.

Yamaguchi talks about taking over the family "business" since she no longer has a job.

The director addresses an educational symposium at the school.

Yamaguchi's class shows up.

Her detective friend offers to give her a ride to the school.

The students give the director their own ultimatum; if Yamaguchi goes, they will all quit school.

Yamaguchi arrives.

Yamaguchi asks for some time to speak; the director wants her and the students thrown out, but the head teacher says to let her speak.

Yamaguchi begins her talk. She asks the other teachers to support her students and not give up on them.

The head master tears up her letter of resignation. He says the school needss Yamaguchi and people start clapping.
