From the Heart episode 10

They take the father to the hospital, leaving Mayuko alone at home and wondering what she should do.

He had a stroke. The doctor tells them that the father might be paralyzed on his right side and have difficulty speaking. Shinichi tells his friend that he wants to conduct an autism study group with students.

Jun gives the slimy politician news he had been hoping to receive.

Shinichi runs into the woman who conspired with the slimy politician.

After Shinichi tells her that he is going to have nothing further to do with Mayuko she says that it was Mayuko who allowed him to learn how to cry again and it was Mayuko who is responsible for his returning to medicine.

She asks to see the dark picture that Mayuko drew in counseling, perhaps beginning to realize that all is not as it seems with sp (slimy politican).

Mayuko's friend comes over to visit. Mayuko is going to restart her weather web site.

Mayuko's friend talks to Shinichi. Meanwhile, the reporter is going to bed with the slimy politician.

Jun and the girl who really likes him have a talk.

Misaki, Mayuko's friend, apparently sends similar messages to Mayuko and Shinichi, saying that she (Misaki) wants to meet them at the park, but she's really just setting it up so Mayuko and Shinichi can meet.

Mayuko tells Shinichi to sit down with her back to him. That way, technically, they aren't "seeing" each other. They are also just "talking to themselves," so that way they are not only not seeing each other, but aren't even talking to each other (technically).

It appears that the slimy politician may have some dark secrets in his own past.

SP visits Mayuko's father.

She remembers something about him and he starts chasing her. She calls Shinichi on the phone and he comes to rescue her.
