From the Heart episode 2
There is a recap of what happened at the end of episode 1.
She confronts Jun, finding out even he knew about her condition.
She reads that autistic people need special training to fit into society better.
The one place is still trying to find out about Mayuko and notes that a politician has taken interest in her.
The politician visits her home, knowing she is not there. He wants to see her "talent" put to "good use."
They talk about Mayuko's inability to find a job since places won't accept someone with autism, but the politician acts like he knows a place that will.
They talk about her autism.
Mayuko's mother tells her the politician thinks she can get on at a computer company.
Mayuko's mother meets with Junichi. She wants him to be Mayuko's psychiatrist, but he says he can't be.
Her brother tries to coach her to prepare her for a job interview. She says she's twenty years old, by the way.
His former girlfriend's sister is at his apartment again and he tells her that he's turned down Mayuko's wanting him to be her psychiatrist.
He gives Mayuko a ride on his bicycle.
Mayuko's room.
Things fall apart when a guy drops his pen and asks her to pick it up. Since she has not memorized what to do in this case ( as she memorized other things from books on how to act during an interview), she has no idea what she should do.
The reporter tracks her down and wants to know how her interview went.
She introduces herself as a friend of Junichi's first, rather than as a reporter first.
She is telling Mayuko about what happened to Shinichi in the past. She had no idea he had a girlfriend that had died.

Mayuko has not come home from her interview so Jun and Shinichi are out searching for her.
Unfortunately, it's the slimy politician who finds her first.
Her father doesn't want her trying out for any more job interviews. He and Jun get into an argument over that and other things.
