From the Heart Episode 4

Mayuko e-mails Shinchi to tell him she ended up getting the job.

She's concerned about getting to work on time while her father seems utterly unable to say anything actually positive to her, even about her getting the job.

It looks like at least one of the other workers is resenting her getting hired since she doesn't actually have a degree in the field, and since she is the "Internet idol" weather person.

Shinichi is still remaining friends with her and giving her advice on how people get along.

His friend gives him some advice about people with autism eating at restaurants. He notes that such people are more sensitive to sounds and that even the flickering of a fluorescent light might bother them. Before long, though, the one person who really doesn't like her makes progress in shutting her out, to the point where she's no longer invited to go to lunch with them.

The politician from earlier is trying to find out how Mayuko is doing at her new job. Apparently there was an article in a tabloid about Mayuko and he's "concerned" over how the company she is working at will react to it.

He takes her to the same restaurant she went to before and had problems with, but he works with her on those problems. For example, the noise that bothered her then starts to bother her again. He looks around and finds out it's a nearby air conditioner, so he finds a table that isn't near one and they sit down there. He also helps her learn how to pick something from a menu without getting overwhelmed by all the choices.

Jun runs out to get a copy of the tabloid.

At a staff meeting the presenters say there will probably be no rain at all, and Mayuko says there will be rain. They change their prediction due to her, but the one person still resents her.

Jun shows Shinichi (who happens to be his teacher) the article on Mayuko. Jun wants him to stop encouraging his sister.
