Rather neatly summing up how he feels about Mayuko, Mr. Sensitivity strikes again.
Meanwhile, two more people banging around the slime bucket openly conspire to keep Shinichi away from Mayuko.
The situation at work begins to worsen quickly as some people are not specific enough in asking her to do something. For example, some guy wanted some papers thrown in the trash but she thought he was referring to something on his computer.
Shinichi is having doubts about his being a doctor.
Because of the confusion about what trash to throw away, the team loses a report they needed and Mayuko is taken off the forecast team.
Mayuko and Jun get into an argument and Mayuko has some kind of flashback.
She evens predicts where a rainbow will appear in the sky after a brief shower.
The conspirator arrives at Shinichi's "office," trying to find out more about Mayuko.
Shinichi's cat, Tear, is ill. He takes him to the vet and finds out that the cat has feline leukemia. Tear dies that night, though.
Shinichi has to explain the concept of death to Mayuko.
He uses what has happened to help her learn about the feeling of sadness.
