Shomuni 1, episode 1

The guy is Mr. Endo. The girl is Sawako.

The extremely angry wife shows up.

The president of the company has returned from a trip. When the elevator opens the wife throws Sawako out of the elevator. She slams into the president and knocks him to the floor.

Sawato gets transferred to General Section 2, which is a dumping ground for the secretaries no one else wants.

Ikami, the section chief (who, I think, is the actor who played the director in Star no Koi.)

A rather odd question for a new arrival at the secretarial pool.

One of the other secretaries is the woman who played the “president” in Star no Koi.

The one secretary is a virgin. The secretary confronting her says the desk the woman wanted belongs to the cat.

Sawato’s apartment.

The chief is giving a speech to the workers.

The one secretary is involved with more than just the director.

One of the secretaries is conducting some kind of strange auction.

Tsuboi is the really tall secretary and the sort of scary one. She’s talking to Sawato, and Sawato tells her she wants to quit. She offers to get Sawato another job, but Sawato finds out that it’s at a topless bar.

Two groups of secretaries, one the out group, one the in group.

Sawato decides to quit and they give her a farewell party (although they never actually gave her a welcoming party, so they’re combining the two)

Tsuboi lectures Sawato. Meanwhile, Sawato’s former semi-lover talks to her and says he’s sorry about her transfer but there was nothing he could do. She tells him, basically, to get lost.

She decides not to quit after all.

The girls even have to change the lights in the halls.
