Shomuni I, episode 3

As usual, the girls aren't doing much of any work.

The chief, as usual, is petting his cat.

The head announces a 10% across-the-board budget cut.

The chief and his cat have been sleeping when the news finally reaches their section.

They should learn not to plot against section 2. Tsuboi decides expenses can be cut on equipment, so she gives out an abacus and takes back the electric calculator.

She plans to cut down on the use of computers, also.

A guy that was going on a company trip gets an economic ticket instead of a first-class ticket, to help cut expenses. Also, no more taxis; they have to use the public bus service.

She also takes down some of the florescent lights.

The group of snobbish secretaries are mad at Section 2 for using cheaper tea.

First a guy comes down demanding better airline tickets, then one of the snob squad comes down to demand better tea leafs.

The two guys who don't like section 2 say that they will have to cut manpower to reach their 10% cut limit.

The chief offers to resign.

The woman who came up with the idea for the 10% cut has an ego the size of a planet.

She has a thing for the guy and got him the airline tickets he wanted.

The two guys who hate section 2 so much will now be in charge of it temporarily.

The chief has to get rid of the cat so he's going to leave it in an empty field.

They try to tell the others what is going to need to happen.

The section 2 secretaries come up with their own plan to cut expenses.

The company president says he is going to abort the cost-cutting plan, and that it was a stupid idea.

22 The ultra-ego woman who came up with the cost-cutting idea gets demoted to section 2.
