Dark Shadows Episode 1

"My name is Victoria Winters. My journey is beginning." Thus begins Dark Shadows. Victoria talks about linking her past to her present and then the episode goes on to introduce the main characters starting with Elizabeth. Roger refers to David, his son, as "the little monster."

Roger makes his dislike of hiring Victoria evident from the start. Then we go into a scene where an old woman is talking to Victoria. This then moves into a back-story scene with Victoria. We also meet Burke Devlin.

Burke warns her about Collinwood. We also get introduced to The Blue Whale where a lot of scenes will take place throughout the series. We find out Burke has had someone digging into the history of the people in the Collins family. Victoria gets something to eat at the inn.

The waitress (Maggie) talks to Victoria and tells her all the people in the Collins family are kooks.

Then there's more of Victoria's back story. Victoria says she wants to find out who she really is. Then we find out that Elizabeth has not left Collinwood for 18 years.
