Dark Shadows episode 12

Vickie is on Widow's Hill and Roger shows up and tells her its history. Then we go back to the inn with Maggie and Sam. She tries to get him to tell her why he's so afraid but he just says he loves her more than anything in the world and leaves.

Then he talks to her about Devlin. San returns to his house. In one of the scans you can see the shadow of a mike boom on the easel. Maggie gets home and Sam says he's going away. She tries to find out from him what happened that changed him but he won't tell her.

Roger tells Vickie that he wants her to go back home to New York since he knows there is going to be a 'brutal struggle' involving Devlin. He tells her to go back before she's unable to. At the same time we hear Caroline calling for her uncle.

Roger calls Sam's and Maggie answers then calls for her father to come to the phone. Roger tells him it's a good idea if Sam gets out of town right now. Then there's another phone call. She tells her father that they will stand together.

Vickie and Caroline get back to the house. Caroline tells Vickie that the caretaker might be able to answer some of Vickie's questions.
