Dark Shadows episode 15

The story opens with David sitting in the dark in the drawing room. Roger comes in and turns on a lamp. David says he won't let Roger find his car keys. He also mentions something about Roger planning to send him away. (How about to Mars or further?)

Vickie tells Roger his car keys are in his cars. She saw them when she was in the garage. Roger can't understand why Vickie is willing to remain there and warns her if Devlin causes trouble it may affect her too.

She asks Roger to pick up some magazines for David and that she will pay for them. Roger says Vickie can't buy friendship from David, that he has none to give to anyone. Vickie tells Elizabeth that she saw Burke Devlin in the garage. Elizabeth tries to talk Roger out of meeting with Devlin.

David asks Vickie if Roger was going to find the magazines and Vickie says that Roger is very busy. David expected that of Roger. David says Roger lies about everything. David says he hates Roger and he hopes he dies. David says he thinks everyone hates him except for his mother. David says he's not nice at all.

Vickie talks to David about a girl in the orphanage who was like David and thought no one liked her. She finally came to realize, with help, that the one who didn't like her was her. David says the girl should have killed all the others.

Elizabeth tells Roger she wishes he was not going to meet with Burke. David asks Roger if he meant it about sending him away but Roger just tells him to go to bed. Burke calls and Elizabeth tells him Roger should be along in a few minutes.

Elizabeth asks Vickie to sit with her for a few minutes. She says that sometimes the house talks to her. She says David seems very tense that night. Vickie talks about David being convinced that Roger plans to send him away.

David sees Roger drive off and says 'He's going to die, mother.' Roger tries to hit the brakes but they don't work and he crashes. The phone rings and David won't pick it up. Elizabeth answers it and finds out Roger has been in a car crash.
