Episode 224

David is still pounding on the door. Did it never occur to him to try a window or see if there was another exit? Besides that, if there are so many doors outside howling might it not be safer to stay in the house until they are gone?

The dogs stop howling. Did it occur to David to maybe try the door? Nope. Barnabas appears. David asks him what happened to the portrait of Josette and Barnabas explains that his portrait will be put up in its place.

David asks for the portrait but Barnabas says no. He says that her portrait will be displayed in a prominent place in one of the rooms. (David cannot seem to handle change.) Jason (the bum) is still around. (Maybe they should feed him to the dogs. The dogs would probably get sick, though.)

Elizabeth tells him Willie is at the old house and this surprises Jason. She tells Barnabas that she wants him to get rid of Willie immediately. Barnabas tells her that he has Willie under his control and he won't hurt anyone ever again.

Jason goes to the Old House. Jason thinks Willie is after money that Barnabas supposedly has. Barnabas shows up. Sam goes off to work on the portrait. Barnabas tells him that Maggie's future is already assured. Maggie has a nightmare. She finds a casket. The lid opens by itself, she looks inside and screams.
