Dark Shadows Episode 230

The episode opens with Sam walking around the house. Joe, Burke and Vickie arrive. Maggie is in the cemetery. Sam had called the sheriff and says he and his deputies are looking for Maggie. Same and Burke will hunt in the town. Burke will hunt the back roads and Vickie will remain there in case Maggie should come back.

Willie shows up. He leaves then calls Maggie, disguising his voice. He tells her where Maggie is. Burke shows up and he and Vickie rush to the graveyard. Barnabas, meanwhile, has found Maggie and tells her to come with him. Willie shows up and tells Barnabas others are coming and they need to leave.

Barnabas wants to know how anyone knew about his being there. Maggie collapses. (There's a funny thing that happens. Vickie arrives and you see her feet and legs. As she moves her feet it's obvious that she's not walking on grass but on some kind of blanket or something that moves. )

Barnabas and Willie finally leave. Burke and Vickie find Maggie. Willie and Barnabas go to the crypt but leave the outer door open. Burke shows up. Burke leaves without finding them. Barnabas accuses Willie of betraying him and knocks him down and then beats him. Maggie is taken back to the house. She acts sort of wild and that passes out and Joe removes her scarf revealing the bite marks on her neck.
