Bloodlust, Episode One

Melody and Michael Deverux come to Colinsport for their honeymoon.

They don't know anything about the history of Collinsport. There's a murder and there's some kind of major disagreement among the townspeople. A woman rises to power and this causes death and destruction. There are dark forces at work.

This story has Barnabas but it's a different voice actor. Maggie Evans is in the story along with David Collins, Angelique and Quentin.

Melody does the voiceover opening. She likes Collinsport. It's not crowded with people. They are going to stay at an inn. She seems to be a very upbeat person. Maggie is running the inn. She suggests eating at the Blue Whale. She warns them about staying out late after dark.

Then the theme music plays and its been changed.To me the new version sucks. Maggie talks about some kind of meeting. The waitress talks to them quite a bit. Some guy talks about another guy named Ed whose wife died some time ago.

They had chosen Collinsport on a whim. Her husband's made a list of local landmarks to see. They meet a Isiah I think. She asks about the meeting. He asks if they believe in monsters, in creatures of the night. Her husband doesn't believe any of it.

He says Maggic thinks she's seen things and she wants to stamp out all monsters. He warns them they should leave the town, that it's not safe. Her husband goes off to the restroom. He hears Ed talking to a woman named Susan. The woman says it hit Maggie hard when she died. That was Ed's wife.

Isiah starts ranting when Maggie says the meeting will start. The waitress kicks him out of the bar. They go out for a walk instead of staying at the meeting.

Maggie says the supernatural is real and dangerous. Melody and Mike talk about getting a boat someday. While out walking Kate talks to them. She runs the local newspaper. She tells them about Collinwood. David Collins lives alone there. There's also a mine at the edge of the estate.

No one seems to know whaty are digging for. Kate also t ells them to honeymoon somewhere else. Ed goes out to find the couple. Her husband suggests they should go ahead and leave. Melody doesn't want to. Her husband says there's something broken about the place.

Then it's back to Maggie talking. She says the supernatural is evil. Some guy says to tall the sheriff. He says the couple has been attacked and to call an ambulance. Mike is alive but Melody is dead. The sheriff is a woman.

Then there's the closing theme.

It seems to be an interesting start to a series.
