Barnabas, Quentin and the Sea Ghost
The story revolves around a father and daughter who are part of a group that dives onto old boat wrecks for salvage. They have come to Collinwood since there is a wreck of a ship nearby that supposedly has a major treasure. It also supposedly has a female pirate captain who kills those who try to take her treasure.
Julia and Professor Stokes also are part of the story. Julia and the daughter Norah are both in love with Barnabas and Barnabas and Norah talk about marriage halfway through the book. Willie is also the one working as Barnabas' servant in this novel.
Quentin appears in disguise and causes some trouble, as usual.
Norah even finds seaweed in her room, supposedly from the sea ghost. Things move along rather quickly until what happened to the treasure is revealed and just who is responsible for that is also revealed. It's an interesting story although sometimes I wonder if Quentin is thrown into these novels just to have them in them and not play a really major role.
