Echoes of Insanity

John Kaplan plays Willie and Lara Parker plays Angelique in this spoken work. The story starts out with Willie having very major psychological problems. It's a while before he realizes that he is in an insane asylum. Dr. Hoffman is treating him, but she has a dark agenda of her own. Meanwhile, in Willie's dreamstate, he is able to communication with Angelique.

This work presents an excellent and rather detailed background of Willie, and how he was when he was young, how he became a sailor and a scam artist, and who his best friend was and how Willie was betrayed. There's a whole lot of background information on Willie and it really helps to flesh out his character. Angelique keeps trying to get information from Willie while he's dreaming and thus we get even more background information during this.

The two of them have to unite in order to deal with what Julia is up to. It's a good story, especially for all the background information it gives on Willie.
