Gold Key Dark Shadows #11

The story for the issue is called The Thirteenth Star. A creature shows up who wants to destroy Quentin. A certain constellation has appeared and it could 'spell doom' for both Quentin and Barnabas. There's also a reference made to 'Collins comet.' The has the 'cleansing spirit' of Mordecai Collins. This all refers to something that happened 500 years earlier.

Mordecai set out to kill any Collins who dealt with the black arts. He end up part of a Golem. The Golem steals the soil from Barnabas' coffin which renders Barnabas vulnerable. Quentin tells Barnabas they must hold a seance to send Barnabas into the future to get back the soil.

Barnabas gets there and finds a Collins relative who shows him a secret passage. The golem is there too, unfortunately, and Barnabas has to deal with it, find the soil and somehow get back to his own time, all before the sun rises.
