The Crimson Carnival: Professor Stokes is at Collinwood along with Constance and Garry. Constance is a cousin of Elizabeth. Garry is working on his thesis which will about Witchcraft.

Carl Ruthven leads the circus and he's looking for a book called The Book of Eternity which is supposed to be somewhere in the area. He wants to be the most powerful man in the entire universe. He finds out that Barnabas has the book and that he is a vampire.

Ruthven orders two of his thugs to steal Barnabas and his coffin. Garry disappears and the two thugs follow Constance. Constance goes into a haunted house exhibit. Big mistake on her part. The thugs steal the coffin (Barnabas is not in it. I wonder why he didn't have a back-up coffin put someplace else?) The next night Garry gets a posse together to find his wife; him, Quentin and Barnabas. They defeat Ruthven, get the book back and free Constance. The villain escapes, though.
