The Man Who Could Not Die: Barnabas seems to be under attack from a multitude of ghosts. They are all distant relatives. Barnabas can't figure out why they are after him. A guy named Devlin Collins seems to be the one behind the trouble. He's not a ghost, though; he's still alive and has been for around 300 years.

Some stranger had come to him years before and offered to spare his life from the plague. Now he plans to force Barnabas into an eternal life so his own life will end. Barnabas finds a way to trick him. Barnabas' ability to travel in time is explained in the story.
