Carolyn has been attacked. Messages in blood are written on the wall at Collinwood. Then the group makes the mistake of holding a séance. (These are definitely not the right things to do unless everyone in the group is accomplished in dealing with paranormal phenomena. It is too easy for negative energy to manifest in such undertakings. Worst of all for this type of thing is the ouija board.)

Enough of the Collins group are under Angelique's control that they are able to give her the energy or whatever it is she needs to undergo a transformation.
