E=mc...?

A new character, Zane, is introduced in this episode. An experiment to duplicate the 'big-bang' goes wrong. People in Eureka start losing their intelligence, and it's up to Carter and Zane to figure out what is going wrong, stop it, and reverse the effects.

Zane is busted by the FBI for hacking. Allison talks to him later and wants to hire him. Zane has been expelled from lots of schools, though, and Carter has severe doubts about him. A headhunter let Allison know about Zane and he gets $25,000 for the information.

The experiment they are going to do is extremely dangerous.

The machine they are using to recreate the big-bang. Henry is closest to the machine and he's the first one effected.

Allison has also been effected by the machine.

Lots of others at GD have also been effected.

Allison is scared of what is happening to her.

The explosion is contained, but it turns out the machine was not the cause of the dumbing-down effect.

Henry tells Jack that Beverly did something to Kim. Then Carter and the woman scientist he's working with find out everyone who has been effected had eaten chicken from the same place.

The chicken woman clones only parts of the chickens.
