Eureka: Dominant Gene #3

A boy from the school, interested in drama and film directing, warns the sheriff of strange things happening to the students. His warnings, of course, are embellished by his tendency to see everything as a potential movie. Zoe manages to escape from her would-be boyfriend and tells her father what happened. Things seem stable until they look out the window and see hoards of teenagers that have been changed by the formula.
