Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg

This is a hardback book in the Fairies series, and is an extremely interesting story about the Fairies and their lives on Never Land. The story explains the way Never Land runs and the importance of a character called Mother Dove.

Mother Dove and her egg are tied to the magic of the island and once the egg is destroyed and Mother Dove's life is in jeopardy a group of fairies set out on a quest to try to first locate valuable items, then trade them to an evil dragon for his help in restoring the egg. Being an evil dragon, though, he has his own agenda in being willing to help.

The story also concerns a new fairy (and tells how fairies come into existence), and her attempt to find out what kind of talent she has, something which she is completely unable to do until very near the end of the story.

It's a good story and the artwork in the book (and all the books in the series) is very good. Worth getting.
