Beck and the Great Berry Battle

This is another in the Disney series of Fairies books. In this one there is basically a war that develops between groups of animals in Never Land, using berries as the weapons. It starts when one group accuses another of theft; the second group denies it and the firing of berries starts.

The situation quickly gets out of hand as more and more groups of animals become involved in the battle. Only when the young of two different groups get in great danger do the various groups realize that they need to cooperate to save their children.

It's another decent, very strongly moralistic story in the series. It shows how easily wars can start and the stupidity of wars and the reasons for them. It also shows that people can decide to cooperate rather than fight, and that things are much better that way.
